Contacts will open when surface or ambient temperatures increase to the snap point of the calibrated bimetal disc. The entire switch assembly is enclosed in a dust-free housing. The thermostats under 350°F setpoint have a phenolic housing. The thermostats with a setpoint of 350° and over have a ceramic housing. The bimetal disc is retained by a metal heat-conducting end cap. These thermostats are used in a variety of applications. They are produced in an ISO 9000 certified factory to insure safe and reliable operation. All models are 100% factory inspected for temperature, continuity and function.
